Joint Open Letter from the Ukrainian Organizations of NZ
The Ukrainian Association of New Zealand (Southern Regions) has joined other Ukrainian organizations in signing an open letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, urging the NZ Government to attend the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland. We are pleased to be part of this collective effort.

This shipment includes 18 merino sweaters generously donated by Weft Factory, along with 60 pairs of warm socks, made possible by your kind contributions. Our dedicated volunteers in Ukraine will be distributing these items to those in need.

Good news! Friends, thanks to your help, we managed to send almost 200 kg of warm sweaters and thermal underwear to Ukraine, generously provided by The Weft Knitting Company. Kharkiv volunteers helped to distribute things directly into the hands of people who lost, or were forced to leave their homes in Donbas due to Russian aggression.

Dear friends! We launched a new Givealittle fundraiser for delivering bodywarmers to Ukraine. A bodywarmer is a 10 x 13 cm 100% natural pad which provides 20+ hours of gentle warmth. For each $20 you donate we are can buy 12 bodywarmers and hand-deliver them straight to people who need them.
Also, we deliver wool thermals, socks, blankets and other items donated by friends of Ukraine from New Zealand to Ukraine.

The management of a Christchurch-based manufacturer Weft Knitting Co has provided more than 120kg of warm merino clothing for both Ukrainian civilians and army personnel! Thank you, very much!!!

Great news! Despite the distance and logistics difficulties, merino thermal wear from New Zealand is already in Ukraine. Our defenders noted how warm and comfortable it is.
The chemical body warmers that we purchased after the last market have also reached their destination. Let’s hope that this little aid from New Zealand will help Ukrainian warriors stay warm over the Christmas holidays.
